Junk food is defined as food that is unhealthy and have low nutritional value(Family Joural 2005).Junk have been related to many problems like health and behaviour.The problems seems more serious among the teenagers.Teenagers usually get their junk food from school canteen.So,an issue have arise whether the selling of junk food should be banned or not?
Junk food as we know can caused health problems.It contains a lot of fat,salt and sugar(Family Journal 2005).All this ingredients can cause obesity.Another ingredient in junk food that is found to be a threat is chemical addictives.Most of this substances can cause behavioural problems like hyperactive and poor concentration.In addition,childhood obesity can lead to future cases of heart disease,osteoarthtitis and some cancers.
Students that have large proportion of junk food in their food intake will not managed to get nutrients they need for healthy developement and growth,and thus their learning potential is reduced(Caputo 2005).More worsen to this fact is most youngster nowadays have less participate in physical activities.Statistic show 18% of Australian school students never involved in physical activities and 40& only involves in weekend(Weekend News 2005).This will also lead to a health problems as been stated earlier.
Next,fast food packaging is the majority contribution to litter problems(Family Journal 2005).If sells of junk food is banned school groundsmen does not have to spend so long cleaning the grounds and thus they can concentrate on maintanence project which benefit the school itself(Green 2005).Also,the litter from junk food have caused the cleaning cost to increase also it reflects a bad image of the community.
In a nut shell,the selling of junk food should be banned as this step can help to reduce many problems like health,behaviour and litter.

global warming.second draft
Global warming is currently is a rising issue in world wide.It is actually caused by human being itself.Factories and cars have release all the dangerous gaseous into the atmosphere for the past decades. This caused the temperature to raise between 0.6°C and 0.9°C for the past century.Besides rising in temperature there are also other consequences caused by the global warming.
One of it is the melting of ice caps and glasier.This is due to the high temperature.When the ice melt it will lead to the rising of sea level.This will cause flood to occur more frequent at the coastal area.This is very dangerous as almost 10 percent of the world population lived in coastal areas less than 10 meter above the sea level.The rate of melting of the ice is predicted to be higher every year as the temperature kept rising.This will cause the sea level to raise faster.Flood also occur as a result from the storm raining that kept falling.
According to “Al Gore 2000” global warming not only caused flood,it also caused drought to the neighbouring places. This happen cause global warming not only causing the increasing in precipitation but also relocate the precipitation.The worse continent that faces drought due to the relocation is Africa.There is lack of rainfall in Africa because it was relocate by the global warming.One of the biggest lake in Africa which is Chad had dried to almost nothing.And this makes the lives of the African more difficult.
Next,global warming also putting pressure in ecosystems.For instance growing season in whole world have been shifted by the warmer temperature.The growing season have become longer,and thus the plants need more water or otherwise it will dried up and risk causing fire.Most of the species will migrate to the poles as the temperature at their original places are not suitable for them anymore.Species that cannot migrate will face extinction. The IPCC estimates that 20-30 percent of plant and animal species will be at risk of extinction if temperatures climb more than 1.5° to 2.5°C.
Also many infectious disease may spread.Some city were build just above the mosquito line.But because of the global warming,the line have rise and caused the city were attacked by the mosquitoes.Not only mosquito but there were many types of other vector were manage to live as the they were actually killed by the winter but the shortening of winter have caused them to live.In the last quarter century,almost 30 new diseases were found.All this were actually caused by the global warming.
In the sea,the sea coral is bleaching.Many types of fishes and other seas animal depends on this coral for food.If the coral bleach,the fish species will extinct.This will also caused imbalance in the seas ecosystem.
Mankind is the only species in this world who could solve global warming problem.A few ways is been suggested by Al Gore.Used more efficient electrical appliances,used higher milage car and more efficient public transports is all stated by Al Gore.Another few ways in reducing the carbon dioxide emission which will help to reduce the global warming problems are replacing the incandescent lamps (ones that make light by getting hot) and use energy-saving fluorescent lamps,switching utility company so more of electricity is made from renewable energy or cycling, walking, or take the bus from time to time instead of using car(2006,Woodford).In a nut shell,human must take action from now or otherwise our mother earth will be destroy by immortal enemy which is a natural disaster.
